I started playing hockey at the age of 9 in Northland. I changed from playing soccer to hockey due to my soccer games always being cancelled because of the rain and it resulted in me having to watch my sister play hockey on the turf next door. I am studying a distance learning, part time Bsci at Massey University due to my hockey commitments. My interests are definitely anything to do with the outdoors. I enjoy going to the beach and doing trail walks/runs, adventures and being with my dog named Kevin. I absolutely love chocolate, cheese and coffee (not all together though).

Katie's Ritual

I have a number of Ritual's. I always have at least 2 coffees before game time. I always put my left sock, shin pad, shoe etc. on before my right and I also listen to music to get hyped.
