I started playing hockey at 5 years old because everyone in my family played. I also played football, rugby, and golf from a young age. I am currently completing a master’s degree in finance, which is allowing me to fulfil a lifelong goal of playing in the Hoofdklasse with SCHC. Outside of hockey I like playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Ali's Ritual

I eat a big meal three hours before pushback, I take some caffeine about an hour before the game, and I like to tap a ball around in the changing room to get my eye in before the warmup.
