I prepare the same each game, going through the team goals and then my individual goals in my head. I do this on the bus with headphones in listening to music; this is my quiet time. Once at the field I like to sing and dance to get pumped up with the girls and ready to go! If I am feeling lethargic I'll have half a Redbull to give me that extra kick. I also wear a yellow ribbon in my hair for goodluck and have done my whole career!

Notes from the field
I started playing hockey when I was 4 years old as my whole family played. My dad coached me until I was 18 and in the national squad. At one point I was playing with my mum and sister in the same team. I played with the Australian under 21's when I was 15 and then I was picked in the national squad when I was 17 (still at school). I moved across the country a year after school to train with the national squad and have been playing for the Hockeyroos ever since!
