I first picked up a hockey stick when I was 9 years old. I used to travel with my sister to watch her in her U-19 summer tournament with her club team. They ended up being short players and asked if I could step in for numbers. I immediately fell in love with the game and went on to drive 3+ hours to train with one of the best club teams. Some fun things about me, my legal name is actually Jacqueline Sumfest but Cassie was given to me by my older sister and it just stuck throughout my life. 

Cassie's Ritual

I always drink a cup of coffee and braid my hair the morning of the game. Prior to the warm up I foam roll and stretch whilst listening to my pregame music.
